1. Overview
OneFamli is a family-organization service that helps households manage calendars, reminders, chores, shopping and meal plans, household finances, family communications, and related features. This Privacy Policy explains how OneFamli collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, this may include account and household information; calendars, events, activities, tasks, chores, shopping lists, meal plans, recipes and household notes; finance information you choose to enter; messages; support communications; and subscription information supplied by the relevant store or payment provider.
We may also collect limited technical and usage information to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service. Optional location features require your device permission. We do not sell personal information or use precise location for advertising.
Location sharing
When you enable location sharing, OneFamli uploads your precise coordinates and a timestamp to our Supabase service so authorized household members can see your last known location. The app does not track location in the background or retain a location history. Your last shared location remains until you replace it, stop sharing in the app, or delete your account. Turning off device permission prevents new readings but does not remove a location already shared; use Stop sharing in the app to remove it. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising.
AI features and your consent
Before your first AI request, OneFamli asks for permission to send the described data to OpenAI through our backend. Your choice is saved to your account and reused across devices and AI features. Withdraw permission in Settings under OpenAI permission; your next AI request will ask again. A material change to the consent scope also requires new permission. For Ariel, this includes your question and authorized calendar events, meals, chores, and monthly finance records. Scanning sends the selected receipt or calendar image, including visible personal details. Recipe imports may send the supplied link and page content. Cancel sends nothing to OpenAI. We request that API responses are not stored (store: false); this is not a promise of zero provider retention. OpenAI processing is subject to its data policies. Assistant conversation text is kept only in the current screen session and cleared when the account or household changes; legacy device-wide history is removed.
3. How we use and share information
We use personal information to provide and secure the Service, support household features, manage subscriptions, respond to requests, prevent fraud, improve the experience, comply with law, and send marketing only where permitted.
Information you add to a household may be visible to the household members and roles you authorize. We may use service providers that help host and operate the Service, provide authentication, payments, support, subscriptions, analytics, notifications and AI features you choose to use.
4. Children, retention and security
Parents or legal guardians may create and manage child profiles or invite minors into a household. We collect only information reasonably necessary for the selected household features. Account information is generally retained until deletion, subject to legal, security and backup requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Account deletion
Delete account in Settings removes your authentication record, private records, transactions, messages and uploaded files. Shared household records may remain without your author identifier. Another active adult becomes owner when necessary. A household with no remaining adult, including its managed child accounts and files, is removed. A child account linked to another household must be transferred first. If file cleanup fails, your account remains available to retry deletion; edits to affected households are temporarily paused until cleanup finishes.
5. Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or withdrawal of consent. To make a privacy request, email support@onefamli.app with the subject line “Privacy Request”.
